Steeped in Swanage history and packed with character, The Narrows is a beautifully preserved Grade II Listed Purbeck stone cottage dating back to the 18th century. Located in one of the oldest parts of town, this unique holiday home blends original period features with comfortable modern living, offering an unforgettable stay just a short walk from Swanage Beach, the town centre and the Jurassic Coast.
Named after the historic stretch of Swanage High Street known locally as The Narrows, the cottage has deep roots in the town's heritage and even features in the writings of local historian William Masterman Hardy. From exposed Purbeck stone walls and flagstone floors to original beams and impressive fireplaces, every corner of the cottage tells a story.

Lower Ground Floor Living Space
Full of atmosphere and original character, the spacious living and dining room showcases an original vaulted beamed ceiling, exposed Purbeck stonework and historic fireplaces.
